The Wonderful World of LATEX PROPS!!!
THE STORY....

One day, whilst trying yet again to hot glue gun pebbles together to make a stone wall for my english trail scene....I had a sudden vision.   Okay, not a vision maybe, but a crazy flicker of an idea....why not use my latex mask making junk to make a RUBBER stone wall....it could work...could it?

IT DID......and a new era in model horse props was born.

So I sculpted a New England granite stone wall, made a mold, and poured in the liquid latex....and WOW!!  WHAT AN AWESOME ITEM!!
It surprised the heck outa me, and I'm used to this stuff.

One thing led to another, and fallen logs, stumps, and rocky outcroppings emerged.  Once people get over the fact that they "feel oogie"  when they expect a hard resin surface, they freak out and buy em up...They are totally addictive, and once you get the first one...

OKAY....INTERRRRRESTING DETAILS.....

The pieces are cast from original sculptures, in a high quality special effects quality latex.  The cured rubber is strong, very tear resistant, and keeps it's "memory" of it's shape  (it springs back to the mold, even if you squish it)

This results in a heavy-duty, yet lightweight, very durable prop that you can juggle without fear, that also CAN NOT HURT YOUR VALUABLE HORSES.

There are no sharp edges or clunky weights to deal with...only a nice, substantial chunk of rubber that happens to look exactly like a log, rock, etc..    These are detailed with airbrushed latex mask paint...which being rubber itself, bonds permanently to the piece....never to come off.  The paint stretches and bends with the prop, and will never wear or flake away.  These props are lightweight in comparison to other materials, but fear not...this is no cheap wal-mart halloween mask rubber...this stuff is special effects quality, heavy-duty latex....

YOU WILL LOVE IT!
